Scaffaiolo Lake
Excursion to watch the spectacle of the sun setting on the lake. Dinner at the Rifugio il Duca degli Abruzzi, the oldest refuge in the area. Return with head torches. Possibility of excursions at sunset and at night.

The Arcane Cross
Excursion from Doganaccia to the Croce Arcana pass, the pass of the Tuscan Apennines, located between the provinces of Pistoia and Modena. Possibility of sunset excursion.

Towards the Capanno Tassoni
Medium difficulty excursion along one of the most used roads since the Middle Ages by pilgrims and merchants who passed through the Pistoia mountains. Stop at the Lo Spigolino restaurant of the Capanno Tassoni refuge.

The Balzi dell'Ora
Trekking to discover the rocky conformations that make up part of the Corno alle Scale ridge and which give the area the appearance of a shaped ridge.

The Corno alle Scale
One of the most fascinating excursions on the Pistoia mountains. From the foot of Lake Scaffaiolo you will continue up to Punta Sofia, the summit of Corno alle Scale, at 1,945 meters above sea level.

Mount Cupolino
Excursion towards Monte Cupolino, at 1,852 meters above sea level, on the main ridge of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. Possibility of starting at night to enjoy the sunrise at the summit.
